Winter School (Jan-Mar)
Locations will be the Toronto City Sports Centre, Monarch Park, Crescent School, and Upper Canada College.
The Winter Soccer School typically runs January to March on a weekly basis. Players participate in training sessions each week with focus on a particular skill/s and will include 50/50 mix of game play and skill building activities. Groups are formed based on age and ability level. The programs all take place indoors.
For the girls programs if there are not enough girls to form a group they will be placed in the co-ed group when applicable.
4-5 yrs old FUNdamentals
A fun and rewarding skills program for children ages 4 to 5 Soccer skills training is built into a curriculum that teaches technical ability, agility and balance. Children are introduced to soccer in a fun and rewarding manner which provides recognition for the young player. The clinic is a combination of skill learning and games. There is lots of ball contact for each player through ball movement practice, dodge games and fun ball manoeuvring exercises. Children are taught the basics of the game.

6-7 yrs old Soccer Essentials
This program is geared to improve the development of 6-7 year olds. Children are instructed in core soccer skills and good soccer habits through age appropriate skill exercise and games. The program emphasizes coordination and movement in soccer, presented in skill exercises and small sided soccer games designed to make a positive impact on the development of the young player. Players are introduced to competition in a fun way and achieve success through skill training as well as game play.

8-15 yrs old Skill Development Program (U10, U12, U14, U16)
The skill development program is designed for players to receive specific coaching to develop and refine their skills. The purpose of the program is to maximize the individual's soccer potential, while recognizing that the players come from different soccer backgrounds and will vary in technique and ability. Coaches will evaluate the players consistently from the first session and will challenge players by grouping them with players of similar abilities. Technique training of all the core soccer skills is emphasized. All Power Soccer programs use creative and challenging games to improve ball control, passing, dribbling, defending and shooting. The coach works on having the player improve all the fundamental ball skills while introducing tactical concepts of the game such as of space, support, movement off the ball and transition.

8-15 yrs old Goalkeeper Training
Our goalkeeper training programs are run by Power Soccer’s top tier goalkeeper coaches. This program is designed for goalkeepers to receive specific coaching to develop and refine their skills. Our goalkeeper coaches will focus on shot stopping, reactions saves, footwork agility, handling techniques, positioning, distribution and diving.

The purpose of the program is to allow adults to participate in soccer skill exercises and game play in a recreational environment. The program is designed to be an enjoyable 90 minutes of soccer regardless of ability or experience level.

Multiple Program/Family Discount
A 10% discount is applied when a player registers for two or more programs at the same time. The same 10% discount is applied if two or more siblings register for a program at the same time. These two discounts can not be combined. The program with the highest fee is excluded from the discount when registering for programs with different fees. The discount applies when both players are registered at the same time.
Code of Conduct
Power Soccer fosters a welcoming, safe, positive and inclusive atmosphere where all people are valued and respected.
Staff, players, volunteers and parents are expected to respect people and their rights, be considerate and to show proper care and regard for City property, Power Soccer property and the property of others.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all players and staff, disruptive, destructive, or dangerous behaviour will not be tolerated. If a player does not respond to redirection from coaches and continues to create an unsafe environment for themselves, other players, or staff, their parent or guardian may be contacted to pick them up. In cases where a player is dismissed from any session due to unacceptable behaviour, no refund will be issued.
Cancellation Refund/Policy
There is a $50 cancellation fee that will be applied if you decide to cancel 30 days before the program begins which will be applied to the refund. No refunds are given within 30 days of the program starting, for cancellations once the program has started or for non attendance.
Power Soccer reserves the right to cancel or alter any programs, times, costs or locations outlined as required, due to low enrolment, change of policy, weather or availability of facilities.
